Amp Upgrade--Which One?

Hi guys,
I just upgraded by pre/pro to the 7005 from the Onkyo 885. I have the Parasound A52 (125wpc x 5) amp and have an old HK 2000 amp powering my two surr back channels. I have "upgraditis" real bad and am considering upgrading the HK to the Parasound A23 (125wpc x 2) or A21 (200 wpc x2). If I do the upgrade I would power my Front channels with it. I'm also considering the Earthquake Cinenova 3 Grande-- on audiogon for $950 (3channel x 300wpc).
My speakers are Paradigm Signature S4's and the C3 center. I have Paradigm SA-35 in wall speakers for surrounds. My budget is approx. $1000.

The A21 is so nice, but part of me thinks it's overkill, and I'm not sure I can find one in my budget. The Cinenova is sweet too!

Opinions welcome-- what do you guys think of the choices? Any other ideas? Should I just leave well enough alone and use the funds towards a new Samsung Plasma?

Unless you are having a problem driving your speakers with your current amplifiers, I would put the money into something other than amplifiers. A lot of people waste a lot of money on power they don't need. Things like better speakers or a better TV are things that will make a real and obvious difference.

Remember, it takes a doubling of power to get just 3dB increase in volume. And that is not much difference in volume. I believe you already have a good quality amplifier. I don't think you are going to be able to get much of an improvement with amplifiers.

Sounds like you need to get the Parasound to keep everything in the "Para" family - Parasound and Paradigm.

A21 for the front Left & Right, and A52 for the rest of the channels.

If you believe in (I don't) brand matching, try Anthem. I am very happy with my MCA20 that drives my L/R, the Marantz drives 4 channels, leaving 4 channels idling.
