I Have An Old Kenwood Stereo Power Amplifier KM-209...Its Always Worked Great,But Recently It Started Turning Off When The Bass Is Too Loud...Or The Music Is Just Loud In General...If I Turn It Off Manually For A Second Then Turn It Back On It Works Just Fine Again...But Again Shuts Off If Its Too Loud...Any Idea What It Could Be? My Friend Said Its A Fuse...But I Opened It Up And Didnt See Any Fuses:(

Has anything changed in the setup, like changing from an 8-ohm to a 4-ohm speaker? Have you checked the speaker wires for strands touching?
What speakers are you running?

Hello, I remember I had a similar problem.. It is very difficult to work out the source, but the symptoms of having sound cutting out at higher volume is either caused by a/v overheating or metal touching where it shouldn't...

Seriously, I have no life.
I have seen **** like that cause the sound to cut out, even when it wasn't necessarily loud *** bass. This **** is the kind that you always need to look out for when you move your **** around because playing it loud *** when wires are shorting is a good way to blow your **** up.

Yeah- the forum has filters for certain words.
