I added a Crown xls 402 thru my Denon FR/FL Preouts. The FR/FL to a balanced/unbalanced converter and xlr cables into the inputs of the Crown. I hooked up the speakers to the L and R channels of the crown....Now I am getting no sound.....anyone have anything similar happen....it seems I am overlooking something small..Hopefully....Thanks

Nice amps........... those would cost some coin on 7.2 system.
I have a 5.2 HT system for Blurays .....200 a speaker would be nice for head
room. How many did you hook up??

Crown XLS - Denon 3805

Actually, I only have the FR and FL speakers hooked directly to the amp. I wish I was able to also somehow connect the Sunfire MKII sub up also. It seems with the amp at mid level pushes the speaker and the amp fed thru the receiver does not respond equal to the speakers, unless the amp is turned way down and the receiver pushed more. I like the amp, it is fed from the receiver Front preouts. It seems the additional power is making a cleaner signal and the Klipsch 83's really respond to it, they seem to really pick up additional vocals and instrumentals that the Denon is not providing. I did make sure though to place a non-balanced to balanced converter in line from the receiver preouts to the Crown. The converter has the RCA plugs for the line out of the receiver and LXR plugs for hooking up the Crown. I am getting a slight buzz out of the amp thru the speakers, if I can figure out how to isolate the ground better and get better respons from my sub, it would be a great sounding system.
