Hey Audioholics,

I have a 4.2 system fronts and rears. What amp assign would you recommend?

I may have wired poop wrong

I have the same speaker in rear as the front.
I have the front L+R and Surround L+R. Should I put the rear speakers in the Surround Back?

Might help to know the make/model of the gear in question....

Okay, sounds like you're fine. You don't get rear surrounds until you go 7ch. Call them surrounds rather than "rears" until you have rear surrounds in a 7ch setup....

No, when using 5.1, or 4.1 as you are, surround back assignment and terminals are not used. They are for a second pair of surround speakers placed in back in a 7.1 setup. Your surround speakers should be placed as those in the 5.1 illustration.
