I got a promotion e-mail from them for HDTV's to be delivered in time for the Super Bowl. It was a killer deal so I ordered a 52" LCD. This was 8 days ago and used the "super saver" shipping. As of today, it's still sitting in Indianapolis. The shipper, CEVA, has been great with CS over the phone but beyond that it's really frustrating. It's now the Thurs before the SB and the shipper doesnt work on the weekends.

So, I have 30 people coming over for the game, a nice new Blu-ray player, receiver, speakers......and a mount hanging on the wall with no TV.

Never had a problem with SS shipping before, but I thought I'd add my recent experience.

Very sorry about your shipping experience - have you contacted Amazon to see if they can expedite matters for you?

As for the OP's question - yes I order from Amazon frequently for personal use and client's as well with no issues at all.

For the OP, my two cents.

Love Amazon, typically some of the best prices on the internet and almost always offering free shipping.

They also have a great marketplace to sell your stuff. I have sold several school books there over the years.

Take it as a sign. Get a PJ instead.:D I always take frustrations as a sign I need to upgrade.;)

It depends on what you're looking for but I often find that they're competitive with any other place known for low prices, and sometimes they're even cheaper. It's on my standard list of shopping sites when I'm looking for the best price on something.

We've bought lots of stuff from Amazon, and have never had a problem. This includes purchases from Amazon Marketplace vendors selling used merchandise.

No worries with Amazon. Oh, and I love the user reviews, too.

I won't use Amazon again

This is a little thing but I am very upset. I placed a order on Jan 28th on Amazon.com....I have been checking daily for any sort of update. I wasn't able to find anything. So I went online and checked my CC "Which has PLENTY OF CREDIT" and I had a fee of 1.00 for them to verify my card. The thing is, It may take up to 10 days for this...Very unhappy.

I got my order today. 1 day before the estimated date. all seems fine. i will use them again.
