Am I missing something

HI I am not sure how many of you can order from AAFES but there are three receiver I am looking at They are all make by Pioneer the
VSX-915s for $259
VSX-815-K for $279
VSX-915-k for $399
As far as I can tell the K stands for black? but an extra $140 for back?
I have to be missing something, does anyone know what it is?

Pioneer receivers

For around $400, you should be able to find the 1015 with more power and features then the models you listed.
