Yes the P7 has bass management like the P5. But it's fixed at 50,80hz or full. You can not fine tune it. I have always set mine at 80 or full anyways when it called for it.
XO @ 80Hz is good for me too.

A million years ago in a galaxy far far away when I was all about analog, I was seriously going to buy the P7. I thought the P7 was the coolest idea back then (I used to have 4 analog stereo preamps for 7.1 sound ).

Ha Ha... I will keep my stereo and HT separate. I have to anyways. My wife is watching TV when I listen to music. Only time I use the HT is during movies. So I will still have two systems in the house. However my music system will be 2.1 or 5.1 depending on what I am listening to or watching a music BD/DVD. Pairing with the Oppo 105 and a 50in Panasonic plasma. All I need is a center channel and a few more modules for the ATI.:D

Looks like Parasound did not pay their hosting fees. Can anyone see their website?

Does the P7 have bass management like the P5?
I talked with them yesterday and was told they know about the web site problem and are working on it- didn't sound like a payment issue.

This link shows 'analog bass management', but doesn't indicate crossover/HP settings & adjustment.

http://www.audioadvisor.com/prodinfo.asp?number=PAHAP7

The manual shows that the crossover can be set to 50Hz, 80Hz or off for LP and HP, with LP level control.

Nice. That new integrated is tempting. I wonder if they will repair out of warranty stuff. My zDac on/off button does not stay in sometimes and I will have to push it in a few times before it sticks.
I would call and ask.

Yeah, upgrading the AT2002 to the AT2005 is a good idea.

I also have 2 systems; one system for Music & HT since both music and movies deserve the best system; one system for parties.

I will as soon as the site is up and I can get the number.

<threadjack> On another note. As a dealer do you know the gain difference between the single ended and balanced connections to an A23? I changed over to balanced connections this morning and I swear it sound better but I am sure it is just louder. My office neighbor was complaining that I needed to turn it down and I have been using this system for a while and know what volume levels I can go to without bothering anyone. </threadjack>

Either way I am enjoying my office system with renewed enthusiasm.

No I spoke to Parasound, their Hosting Partner had legal issues to due with some specific font or something, it should be back up soon.

Ha Ha TLS Guy. You know me pretty well.:D I guess I did ask this before, just didn't remember it. This was a spur of the moment question since I just found out I have to send the Parasound back. I will take all of your suggestion and make a good decision with the info.
The Doc's advice was excellent. I have a DCX2496 which, in addition to high/low pass crossover, offers capability of EQ for acoustically-challenged rooms.

The advantage of using an external crossover, such as the CX2310 or DCX2496, is that the pre-amp/amp or integrated amp choices are unlimited. And, if I can figure out incorporating such a unit in a 2-channel system (I got lots of info from these forums), anyone can.
