I am curious about that as well, particularly Denon. I imagine they will, or they risk losing a lot of sales. At least to the people who want to future proof for 3D. I am trying to decide if it's worth caring about right now.

Nail me? My HDMI cable problem was with a Sony BD player, I just bought an Onkyo HTS 3200 with (3) HDMI input and (1) out. The Inputs are video pass through only. I still had to run either Toslink or Coax for audio (from Dish/PS3 to TV) unless i wanted to run the surround 24/7.
