I am preparing to set up a new HT and have on order Denon AVR 3806. I recently read (on CNET, I believe) that the HDMI on the 3806 is less than desirable. Recommended looking at the 2807. Didn't quite understand the difference so looking for some info. I'm also planning on getting a Plasma TV, if that sheds any further light on your comments.
I initially chose the 3806 in part because it had two HDMI inputs and one output.
