He had his rough years at the end, but he was a great owner in his prime. Several times he was the voice of reason in the negotiating room between players and owners.

I was hoping he would live to be 100 since the Raiders organization has been completely disfunctional for the last decade and I would like the Raiders to suck for as long as possible.

But I gotta give the guy credit for what he did with the AFL and helping to shape the NFL into what it is.
