Affordable 4k Hdmi cables ?

some of my longer Hdmi cables are breaking and I only have one 4k tv but eventually I’m sure my 1080tv will be either replaced or break . Either way I still want Affordable 4/8k Hdmi cables that aren’t too expensive. I checked amazon and I’m overwhelmed with options and brands I’ve never heard of.

Probably want either 12-15-foot options. Maybe some of each . Few 10 foot.
Need one long cable for my 1080tv and shorter ones for my 4k tv, which lacks HDR .
Im not sure on budget yet , whatever price range isn’t junk preferably. I see options down to $30 and under .. unsure of what is quality??

For 12 to 15 feet you are right on the border of requiring a hybrid or fully active cable and a voltage inserter. At 15 feet you now need active cables.

Your current cables may not be broken, just too long.

I like the braided nylon cables in general. I have purchased Snowkids cables before and they have worked fine. Amazon seems to be pushing cables from Highwings and the build quality looks pretty good on those as well. 10 foot cables from those brands are under $10. No need to spend 3 or 4 times that on the Monoprice or Startech 8k cables. You can probably get away with 12 foot but, like the doc says, at 15 feet you're pushing your luck. Unfortunately active cables really jump in price and with your older receiver you will likely need a power-inserter as well.

cheapest active cable , ?? hope I don’t need one but I see there a new type of advanced cable, imagine spending all that for a old LCD screen 1080tv. But when it breaks I’ll get another 4k ..

Actually I would go active at 10 to 12 feet. That is a much better way to go, with much less signal corruption. If you want to save money, move your components closer together. That is the cheap solution.

I would just go active past 9 feet. The cost increase is negligible.

Which are affordable? The tv is only 1080 needs a super advanced active cable / nearly knocked the tv over one day turning on the light switch. Not sure what those things are called that Strap them down ?

I don't think $30-$60 is prohibitive. If it is then you are in a hobby you can't afford.
