Hello, I am looking for some advice please, I need to replace my HiFi, and I am undecided between two models: a
Yamaha MCR-N470DAB for 479.- CHF (same as USD) vs.
Panasonic SC-PMX802E sold at 549.- CHF (same as USD). Which one do you think I the best value for money?
I am not a HiFi expert. I currently own a small HiFi system (a SONY HCD-G2BNiP) which is almost 8-10 years old; I particularly enjoy the ability to play back all my music stored on a NAS on my home LAN (via DLNA), so I am looking for a unit that has this feature.
The system is placed in a relatively small room, some 5 x 5 m, so 25 sqm), so I do not need super powerful amplifier and loudspeakers.
The Yamaha seems to have less power (2 x 22W) vs. Panasonic 1x 120W (am I reading this correctly). I thought that Yamaha has a better reputation, but the Panasonic inside is a Technics which is a good brand, no?
I am not sure how to compare the loudspeakers…
Any other parameter I shall be looking at?
