Having to build system around center speaker size. must be less than 6" in height. room size is 20x15 8ft ceiling. had some good suggestion on my other inital post. what I have narrowed it down to.

Klipsch
RC-10 center
RB-10 front
RS-10 surround
total $700

or

Definitive technology
Procenter 1000
4- Promonitor 800
total $800

or

Energy
RC-Mini center
4- RC-Mini bookshelf
total $1050

either would be feed by Yamaha rxv-663 and paired with Outlaw lfm-1 compact sub.

cant kisten to Energy in my area. could listen to Klipsch and Definitive at Best Buy but on two trips havent been able to get any help.

whats your choice.
thanks

I actively dislike Klipsch, and would never recommend them. Between the others, I prefer Def Tech, though both are good. Don't limit yourself to just these choices, though.
Why 6"? Are you putting them inside a cabinet? If so, be aware that this can have a major impact on the sound (and not likely a positive impact.)

our plasma sits on a cabinet. bottom of screen to cabinet is 6". will have center sitting on cabinet in front of plasma. monitor looks like a good choice but no dealers in my area.

Oh, then only the center needs to be 6" or less. This increases your range of choices substantially.

Plasma mounting

Here are a couple ideas to increase your speaker options:

You could wall mount the plasma so it is more than 6" off the cabinet and have room for any type of center channel. Also, some cabinets include an arm that allows you to mount the display above the cabinet. Maybe you could find and aftermarket version and add this to your existing cabinet.

A simple 1-2" base made from plywood or other material would raise the display and give you more CC options.

Finally, some people use a wall bracket to mount the CC above the display.
