Well, I broke one of the 3 usb ports on my hp laptop and now need to use a usb hub. I have always had my hard drive with my music on it plugged directly into the laptop. I used the other usb port to output it to my v-90 dac. The third was for a keyboard/mouse dongle.
How bad, if at all will using a $10 usb hub affect the sound quality? FYI no mp3s here, all flac and a lot of HD tracks stuff too.
