advice needed on power amp

Hi,

my amp, which I owned for 10 years kinda died (right channel is dead sound quality is really bad).
Maybe it's just some capacitors which I could replace...
But I want to do replace it for now.
I got a NAS onto which I hooked a USB soundcard which has an integrated amplifier...
Now I just wanted to get a power amp that kinda has zero controls... no volume, no bass and treble controls... (already have those)
I just need an amp with cinch (or standard audio jack) input to which I can hook my speakers.
my affordable price range is about ~200€ but could be adjusted

These are my speakers:
2*JBL LX2 8Ω 2 way speakers (10 years old, can provide more info if needed).

Is there any reasonable amp that comes to mind?
Is there maybe a good/better amp that I can hook directly to my nas via usb as an alternative?

Also I've been reading about those T-AMPS, would they be reasonable at all?

Where do you live?

Any decent amp should have a gain control. Don't think of it as a volume knob, though. Use it to match the pre-amp signal voltage supplied by your source, and leave it. Will you be using your USB DAC as the source?

I live in Germany (320V).

I won't mind a gain control but, will probably tape it down, so nobody changes it (visitors, gf, ...) once set.
Yes the USB DAC will be the only source.
I don't have any Vinyl player and everything else is digital anyway and will be routed through the nas and this very usb dac.

I've heard some pretty good things about some Class T amps, but I've also read many quality control problems with them. SMSL amps seem to be fairly well regarded.

But if I were you, I'd be more interested in something like this NAD 2140.

Stick around and see what others recommend.

I got the same advice from someone else, also I got the advice to invest in a Rotel RB 980 RB, although theye are more likely to cost ~300€.

Regarding the SMSL, they are when I get that correctly, all class-D amps.
I don't know much about amps, but aren't class-D amps kinda the stuff you try to avoid, because those are the "cheap but efficient" electric stuff that just don't deliver the sound you want when going for a decent stereo amp?

I don't think I'm anywhere near a price range, where I can get a decent tube amp, but maybe I should just get one of those SMSLs and check if it suits my needs before investing triple of that price.
Then in a couple of years buy something decent when I finally/hopefully have the money.

The NAD seems good though and is a good starting point to compare, so thanks already.
