If he lisen in pure direct without a sub it may help but I doubt it too. I would think more power may help but no matter what the manufacturers would like to claim, one should not expect the best "explosive" bass from a single 6.5" driver, without the help of a sub.
Hello PENG,

I added another 15" Sub to my 12" and it sure helped.

Yea I think that is what i'll do first; I'll buy a new sub and see what happens before I invest in another amp.

regarding 2 channel music, the Forests have amazing base and I like to run them both in pure direct with no subwoofer in the mix. HT, is another story...

Yes, all my speakers are set to small so I have that taken care of..... thanks for the thoughts.

I would borrow an amp first. Maybe you have some friends that have a Threshold, Audio Research, Belles any good US made amp, not some chinese import and then make a decision before you make an investment, or just borrow a good sub. Do not invest till you know what you are lacking. If you would live around my area I could loan you some amps that'll set them speakers on fire.:):):)BTW did you audition these speakers before you bought them, or did you buy them just because.
