Hi eh1088, and Welcome to Audioholics. :)

Your Adcom GTP-880 Pre/Pro from 2003, was retailing for $2,400 USA at the time. It is now considered a prehistoric piece that belongs in the Museum garage or attic from someone's collection of older Adcom components.

I really doubt that you can get much for it, as it is very hard to give a dollar value or estimate on such products.
Perhaps, you can try $400, but I'm not sure that you'll get it. But then, you never know. If it ain't working, try $250, that should do it, maybe.

Good luck,
Bob

That's a great find Rick. His, according to him, is in great condition.
So, that could mean that he might get more than $500 for it. :)
That's good news.

Thanks buddy. :)

There's one on my local CL that's asking $450. It's a more than serviceable piece if you don't need video processing. It will handle the digital formats and receive hi rez audio codecs via analog. I believe it's got a phono stage and 20bit DACs like the 750. All in all, I'll bet it sounds wonderful. A friend of mine has the 750 and is creaming himself over the audio quality.

Hi Ron,

Thats what I also suspect, a great sounding analog section.
It received raved reviews, back in 2004.
That's also very easy to know which 20-bit Dacs it uses, just by Googling it.
And I'll bet too that it has a very nice Phono section.

Thanks for your post. :)

Bob
