I am looking to upgrade my system and want the most bang for my buck, or close to it.

SEVERAL HIGH END DVD PLAYERS
QUALITY CABLES ON ON UNITS.
The room is 14 feet wide from the couch to the TV and opens into kitchen making it 40 feet long. Hard wood floors with as much Carpet and sound material my wife will allow me put put in the room.
Options would be

Adcom 860
Adcom 880
Outlaw 950
Sell all the Adcom equipment and get a Sunfire
Other ??
Looking to spend about $1000 to $1500
