Hi Guys, I am in the market for my first 5.1 system and I just bought a Yamaha rx-v765. I am limited in budget so I am trying to keep the spending on speakers under $300. The guest room that I am turning into a theater room is very small, about 11 x 10 with carpet flooring. It will hook up to a PS3 and a 47 inch Sharp LCD.

I kind of narrow my search down to these two system the

Acoustic Research hd510 for $149.99, $182 shiped from tigerdirect.

what I like about this: About $70 cheaper, comes with wall mounted bracket (helpful in my small room)
Concerns: small center speaker, 175watt sub seems overrated.

OR

Pinnacle MB6000 for 259.99 shiped from Dell

What I like about this: A little bit bigger speakers, better center.
Concerns: How to mount the speakers on the wall?(they are kind of buky)

Please give any comments you have that would help me find the best fit. I know that I am asking alot form that price range, but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do right?

Thank you all,

Some newbie

The AR speakers definitely look nicer. The system certainly used to cost a lot more than $149. Pinnacle is in a more reputable position, but they aren't as pretty either. Neither seems like a bad deal, and if it were me I'd probably give the AR HD510 a shot. See if either of them has a return policy.
