Your comments about the GTG are interesting Warp. For fun, I briefly modeled the 15H vs the CSS 15SDX. It looks like you are trading off bottom end for more headroom above 60Hz or so.

It sounds like its a worthwhile tradeoff.

The GTG was a great time and alot was learned, very revealing about different drivers and their capabilities.

I went with what winisd chose Chebychnev (sp?). I'm sure someone who know what they were doing could get more out of each driver, but I just wanted to get an idea of how the two drivers compared.

I keep reading on DIY forums about how the pro drivers do much better on mid/upper bass. I get the impression that us HT guys focus too much on how low and miss out on the upper end.

I love it when people do a get together and compare actual in room results.
