What sub and speakers are they specifically? Max wattage ratings don't mean much. Pro amps like the Crown XLS series are good performers at good prices.

ps Do you already have any gear aside from the sub and speakers? What sources do you want to use?

Yes gear is the stuff to use the speakers with like amps and stuff :) Sources are things like turntables, optical disc players, cable/sat tv boxes, etc. What brand and model of speakers and sub do you have?

oh its a locally produced sub and speaker. theyre of the same place, and they sound brilliant! i hooked them up to an old 4500 watt car sub, along with a powering unit you can buy, i dont remember what its called but its to power a car amp at home..
the bass from the sub is so good that the pictures of the lady upstairs are rattling XD
Thanks for your help anyway m8
