Not to slight my buddies from the north, but if you're wiase acres like me, I would have some smarmy comments myself. ;0

Seriously, I just found out I need to start taking Nexium 40 mg and even with my drug plan, this is one pretty pricey pill. I do see that some Canadian mail-order company has these at reasonable price but the web sits looks a bit shaky. The fact that the price changes once I put it in the cart is one red flag. The gobbelydegook that appears in the "fine print" section at the bottom is another red flag.

So, can anyone recommend a decent dealer? PM is fine if you don't want to go public.

Another red flag might be that the fact that this "reputable" business is hiding behind store front which sells screws ... wait o_O.... wut???:confused::eek:

Thanks guys. Swerd, that's the biggest help I've been able to find but they are still expensive. And, my drug plan doesn't seem to offer any generics on their plan.

BSA, I didn't even notice that. I'm glad you did. At least my spidey sense seems to be working.

Mail order for this type of stuff scares me. Might be old/expired, or even worse, just a scam.

Maybe ADTG has some insight.

Why nexium specifically? Omaprazole is no good?

It is illegal to import drugs from Canada. However, as long as the the drugs are not narcotic the authorities usually turn a blind eye to 90 supplies for personal use from Canada.

Round here though, your biggest problem would be getting a prescription to Canada.

Round here that Health systems, by whom the vast majority of physicians are employed, use the electronic medical record. Most of these systems, including my former system in Grand Forks, only allow paperless prescribing. The ERMs, like Excellion, which is the most common, have all US registered pharmacies in the data base.

So prescriptions are sent instantly to the pharmacy of the patient's choice from the practitioners desk.

There are good reasons for this.

Huge error reduction.

Prevention of prescription fraud.

Proper, accurate and easily shared and transferred medical record.

Can you not ask you doctor to prescribe pantoprazole (Protonix)? This is cheaper and has a better side effect profile than Nexium. I see US prices are around a dollar a pill.

I wish I could buy my auvi-q epinephrine injectors online for cheap somewhere. Those things are expensive and expire pretty quickly.

I may be wrong, but I think you would require a prescription from a Canadian doctor before a pharmacy would be allowed to sell to you - mail order or not. When I clicked on your link, I got a 404 error. Me smell scam.

Yeah, even when it worked that link smelled funny to me too. I'm pretty sure I found a reputable company and they have my doctor on record from another customer/client/patient. They sent a fax to my doc and he just has to fax a script and we should be good to go. ...I hope.

Thanks, everyone.

Are you getting food stuck inside your chest ?
I had something similar but had burned through the surface and it became sticky. Food would get stuck. Painful & really uncomfortable.
Prevacid has been working great. Costco has had some the best prices with & without a prescription. Even tried some of the Kirkland brand successfully.
