A Reliable Place To Shop?

My fellow Audioholics.

I just got the green light from my wife to purchase a receiver... (Pioneer elite56txi) and am currently searching online for a dealer that's authorized, and who's prices don't kill.

I narrowed the search down to www.shopsunshine.com and was wondering if this REALLY is an authorized dealer, (they claim to be) but with such good pricing and shipping. (30$ to ship from NY to CA)

Anyone ever purchased from them before? or have any comments/reccomendations?

Thanks to all

Trevor

Depending on the price of that unit you could spend a little more and go for some rotel equipment. Then you can go to an actual high end shop.

Hello
There are no authorized online Pioneer Elite dealer's unless Pioneer has changed its policy regarding online sales

Actually, if you narrowed your search down between the Pioneer and Yamaha, you would probably be disappointed in a Marantz, Denon, HK, and Onkyo. They aren't as bright as the Yammy and Pioneer units. The Pioneers seem to have more highs than other units. The Elite models are well made, and I know many guys with big dollar systems that have the Elite receivers. Trust your ear, and go with what you like. What speakers are you going to run?
