A question about a center speaker

is a CSI25 Polk Center Speaker the best center speaker to work with two front Polk R50s and two rear surround Polk R15? im using a RXV563 Yamaha Receiver

Actually the best center to match the R series is the CSR center channel, but if you can't find one of those, then the next closest thing is the CS2, or CS1. I used to have a CS2 paired with R30s in the front and R15s for all the surrounds, and it sounded very good.

If you can find an older csi25, it would be the closest match for your R50s

I used the csi25 and 4 R15's for a system I put together for my girlfriends mom and sister, paired it with a low end yamaha reciever and a Dayton sub-100 and for a system that cost about $550 out the door, it's actually pretty decent.

I'm sure the CSR is newer, they weren't available when I had my R series polks, as far as the difference, I'm not sure, probably just made to match the newer R series speakers. I'm sure the guys at the polk forums would be better suited to answer those questions.
Just save up and get the best you can get, cause once the upgradeitis sets in, it's hard not to keep buying stuff... I started out with a low end Polk R series setup, and now I have top of the line def tech and SVS stuff, and it wasn't cheap, but what can I say, I'm an audioholic

As far as what to get the CSR or csi25, that's up to you, they are both close enough that it probably wouldn't make much difference.
