A little advice on these

Alright, so I know about radiient audio, and how the Insignia's are pretty much they're bookshelfs with a different name.

Well, my friend picked up a couple pairs of the insignia's and they sound pretty darn nice to me.

So I was wondering if this setup would be worth it for a beginner:

Actually, the Insignias are not 1 offs of the radiient speakers. So technically, you'd be better off with the Radiients. Audioholics reviewed a speaker system of theres, and Danny Richie of GR research measured, and modified the Insignia speakers.

You can buy those, and complete the mods he did, and make a fine speaker.

...Or buy the Radiient ones.

That sounds like a fun little project.

Although, I think Danny's last line says it all:

"Even though these will beat up on a lot of speakers, I'd still have to say that they are still not quite to the performance level of our A/V-1 kit or the giant killer king X-LS speaker from AV123."
