Hello all!:
Joe B. from Warwick, NY here. My New HT Room is wired and set up for 7.1 . I currently have 5.1 of the 7.1 speakers owned and set up. Front Left and rights: Tannoy Sensys DC 2's, Front Center is a Tannoy Arena 500C, Rear Left and rights are Tannoy Arena 500 Satellites. Sub is an Aperion Audio S-12. The only thing I need now are a pair of satellites for my Side left and my side right speakers, to complete my 7.1 set-up. Here's the problem. I am well aware of the "Stick with the same speakers all around" theory. and I am in full agreement with that. BUT, even a pair of the most moderately priced, DUAL CONCENTRIC, speakers offered by Tannoy(in this case-Arena Satellites), are over $400. And thats without the added cost of a pair of the needed wall mounting brackets, that Tannoy forces you to buy, for these particular speakers. (Another $200 for a pair of "B" stock brackets from "Fulll Compass.com"). Can anyone out there offer a less exspensive solution to this dilemma. Please keep in mind that I am dead set on going 7.1, just looking to "Get er' done" in an affordable way, without loosing too much on the quality end. Thanks All!!! Joe B.

"There's no way that, that face is looking at this kid's face, while he's throwing those Dice!!" "Put em' in the Batroom!!"

I cannot suggest a cheaper set but I believe that for the surrounds the Axiom QS8's are the best quad pole's money can buy! They come with a free wall mounting bracket that works just fine! Check them out at axiomaudio.com and make sure to go to the factory outlet for a 10% savings.

Are you interested in monopoles or bi/di-pole type configurations? The latter tend to cost more. How much are you willing to spend?
