7-channel power amplifier recommendations

Well, in the end, more than one and a half years after my ill-fated attempt to order an Emotiva XPA-7,Gen.3,(they had problems with customs over CD players in 4 shipments from China), I've decided to give Emotiva another chance, and hopefully, they'll be able to supply the product. I've decided not to worry until two months have passed. I think that's reasonable.
A YouTube reveiwer who reviewed the XPA-7,Gen.3 and encountered slight hum and/or buzz also reveiwed Emotiva's new 2-channel differential amplifier and also encountered the same problem. I tend to think it's a grounding issue, perhaps using an excessive length of high impedence cable (he was using the phono connections, not the low impedence XLR connections, which are more compatable with a longer length of cable..)

I have the XPA 7 It had a very slight hum coming from the front right speaker. I moved the power cable and the hum went away. Dead silent now

Monolith 7 would be my first consideration, maybe some of the other offerings from Outlaw (as well as ATI directly)

Why stop at 7? Go 11...
Yamaha MX-A5200, it will beat out the rest of the competition.
safe and sound sale price is 2300 bucks

Or here's a factory refurb for with warranty for under 2k. LAST ONE! before it's gone.

I think if you want pure arc-welding power, then get something made by ATI.

Parasound is another popular high-end choice.

I love my Yamaha MX-A5000 11Ch amp and think it will work great for most systems. But I also know it's not pure arc-welding power either. :D

That's why my MX-A5000 is powering my 9 speakers in my HT Room, but the ATI AT2005 amp is powering all the Subwoofer portions since we know subwoofers (big bass) require the most power.
