7.2 - 1 sub woofer

I'm looking to purchase a receiver, a 7.2 has the features I want but I only have 1 sub woofer. Is that a problem? What are the drawbacks?

Not a problem at all. Just use one of the outputs. It leaves expandability for when/if you get another subwoofer.
