Hello all,

Thank you for taking the time for reading as I have a problem and am looking for some advice. Ok so for speakers I have Klipsch RF-82 Fronts, RC-62 Center, RB-61 Bookshelfs, RS-42 Surround, 2 RW-10D subs. My room is 16X16 and the entrance is at the back of the room and is approx. 6 foot wide. The subs, center, and front I am good on. It is the Bookshelfs and Surrounds I don't know what I should do with. I am 21 and a beginning audiophile, I am not an expert nor pretend to be. I just bought my first house and don't know enough about speaker placement, height, angle, etc. so I have come for help. Anything at all would be greatly appreciated, thank you much.

Height wise, the surrounds usually go about 2’-3’ above the ear. I like centered at 6’. The multi-polar side-surrounds (RS-42) generally are positioned directly to the side of your listening position. The rear-surrounds (RB-61) I like to place half the room width apart, in your case about 8’-10'.
