I'm running a GTX 670 graphics card with sound over HDMI to Onkyo TX NR3010 receiver. I'm running windows 7 64-bit, VLC as my video player, and Aiseesoft Blu-ray player. I downloaded a 7.1 wave test file and that works perfectly fine. However, when I try to play a movie with 7.1 in it, I'm only getting 5.1. I looked under my sound options and they all check out ok for 7.1. I went ahead and did the test with those and 7.1 is coming out. I know for a fact that my blu-ray source is 7.1 because my physical blu-ray player delivers 7.1. Any help would be appreciated.
