Speaker Options

There are plenty of good speaker options in your budget for a quality 2.0 or 2.1 system for music playback. Check out some local dealers and audition Paradigm, Klipsch reference, PSB, Energy, etc in addition to Def Tech.

If you want a complete 5.1 speaker system + receiver for $1k then internet direct is a good option. AV123 is a good option and SVS has a 5.1 system with a good 10" sub for $800.

FYI, the Trinity goes down to 16 Hz @ -3dB.

So if you could have FOUR BP7000SCs OR 2 BP7000SCs + 1 Trinity, which would you pick (if money were not a factor)?
I would choose the 2 BP7000SC + 1 trinity. I think it would be easier to setup 3 subs vs. 4.

Yeah, 3 is easier.
Is there such thing as too much bass when it comes to movie soundtrack?:)
