5k System...Advice Please!!

I am more Home Theatre Centric than High Fidelity Music Centric. I mean I like good sound but really I just want a quality home theatre experience for a good value. I am not looking at these speakers I will be buying as a high end investment that I will have for 15 years. Just something to tide me over till I can make a real investment later on.

When I first started my hobby in Home Theater/Music, I was all MUSIC. Then after a few years, I was all MOVIES and Home Theater for a long time. Now, I'm equally into MUSIC and MOVIES.
So my point is, you never know in life!
We all change in almost every aspect of life.
That's why you need a system that is equally great with music as movies, especially the speakers!

I second that!
In 2 years, Dolby may come out with something like Dolby Super Dupper TruHD, DTS may come out with DTS-HD Super Master Audio, and Sony may finally release SDDS (Sony Dynamic Digital Sound)
Then someone else will come out with BTDTSDS --- that stands for Better Than DTS & Dolby & Sony!

I guess one advantage I have is TIME. I really can take my time do the research and make an educated satisfying decision. I thank all for the help.
