560SLI to Denon 4311

I searched all over for an answer and found nothing so here's my issue. I'm running a pair of nvidia 560's in SLI. If I run hdmi out straight to my monitor it works fine. There is a slight initial delay compared to dvi out, but it works. If I try to run hdmi through my 4311, all I get on my monitor is a black screen with the denon logo. Then denon gui works fine, but no throughput from mr. compy.

I don't know if it's one of the 8 million settings on the 4311 that I'm missing, or what. I've tried disabling SLI, running without the SLI bridge with no success. I have some experience building computers, but this is my first attempt trying hdmi. Right now, I just run dvi with spdif out, but I want uncompressed audio for blurays and many games won't support 5.1 through spdif.

If anyone has any experience with nvidia cards and the 4311 I would be grateful for any advice.

So I had meant to answer this last night but apparently posted my response in a different tread somehow.

If you're using a non-standard HDTV resolution try setting your monitor to 1080 or 720before plugging in through the receiver. A lot of home theater components will flat refuse to work with resolutions they aren't familiar with and I've had my computer fail to autodetect properly.

I believe I figured out the issue. It seems that it was most likely an EDID problem related to my monitor and not the 4311 or my computer. I just got a new Vizio e601-a3 and it works perfectly.
