50ft cable: RCA-to-RCA vs "headphone" TRS-to-RCA

I have a 50ft connection I want to make from my computer's external audio interface (Focusrite 2i4) to my AVR, and can do it either via the headphone output (1/4" TRS) or via RCA outputs. Either way, they would connect to the RCA inputs of my AVR. If I went the headphone route, it'd likely be a 2-piece connection (a short 1/4" TRS-to-dual-RCA + a 50' RCA cable... only because I haven't seen any 50ft long 1/4" TRS-to-dual-RCA cables).

Would there be any negatives in terms of sound quality if I went the headphone jack route?

Despite its increased complexity, I'm currently leaning in that direction as my audio interface offers a separate volume control knob just for the headphone output. If it doesn't impact sound quality, I'd really like to be able to control the volume going to my AVR independent of the rest of the audio interface's outputs.

I seriously there would be a difference in sound quality.

Going to assume you meant to include a "doubt" in there...in which case, perfect. Thanks!
