I need help deciding on a new subwoofer for my room...it is a big room(between 4 to 5k cubic)....I have been looking at these subwoofers:

VTF-2 MK 4
FV12
LFM-1 Plus

What do you guys think?? Should I consider other options??

Thanks.

Individually, they're fine. But, one sub will not do justice to the space. Plan on at least two.

Also look at SVS subs.

^ I agree. You'd have to move up to the Outlaw LFM-1 EX to get the output you need in that sized room. It was on sale last month for $550 - it's a bummer you missed out on the sale.

+1.
Your other options are DIY or 2nd Hand.

Gonna have to say LFM-1EX also since it was AH certified as "Large room".

You might also look at the Cadence CSX-15 MkII, which won't dig deep, but should fill that room.

I'm planning on getting one for that price and later on I'll add another one...but for now I need to get the best bang for the buck :)....for $500 what is the best that I can get??

If you cannot wait and must make a purchase now without going over budget, I guess the Rythmik FV12 is what I'd choose.

My choice would also be the Rythmik FV-12 as well. Adding a second down the road would make for a nice setup. Not diggin the depths but clean & punchy for sure!

Dual weak 10" subs in that space wouldnt even compare to some farts ive heard before....serious!!
