5.1 setup

I bought a Sony Str-se591 a/v reciever from the pawn shop. It has 5.1 inputs in the back of the reciever. What do I hook up to these inputs?

The plugs labeled 5.1 inputs are inputs not out puts. I have one labeled front...left and right, rear...left and right, center &nbsp;, and sub . Now if these &quot;front and rear&quot; are for speakers, then why only one set of conections and why RCA plugs???
Please help.
