Okay I have a quick question, I'm looking to enhance the sound in my car and a 5.1 capable in-dash receiver is the way I plan on going along with the Rockford Fosgate 3Sixty.2 Signal processor. my question (probably simple) is seeing that the center & sub preouts use a single channel, would I be able connect those to the processor using a two channel (L/R) interconnecting cable, then out of the processor using y adapters, or would I have to keep those signals completely separated from jump?
If you really want the ultimate processor power, a couple of Behringer DCX2496 DSP devices will be superior to that Fosgate device by having more sophisticated crossover ability and EQ system, as well as driver protection systems if you so desire that can be programmed to interact dynamically.
Envision Electronics has easy to swap in
12VDC car power supply for the DCX units. The DCX units can be linked with ethernet cable to act as one unit, with one acting as the master controller and the other as a slave to expand the number of channels. Each DCX has 3 inputs and 6 outputs. In addition, if you have a Car PC, you can hook the DCX to the PC and control it with it's superb GUI software.
