what about "DUAL DISC".
Do these have DVD-A stereo music on them? Im confused I wanted the offspring greatest hits [dual disc] and three days grace - three days grace [dual disk], but not sure if its worth it if it dont have enhanced high resolution DVD-A stereo tracks.
Also, is it safe to play this in my Denon 3800? I was reading that Pioneer warns people of playing these in their cd players? I was reading something via Google about this!!! here

Thanks guys
My first universal disk player was a Denon (I forget the exact model number) and I never had any problems playing dualdiscs (see my previous post about the sound quality of the discs I have in my collection). I didn't care for the Denon mainly because it was HDMI 1.1 and, as a result, wouldn't do multi-channel SACD digital audio over HDMI. I never could get it to play multi-channel SACD over the analog outputs either. When the Denon started messing up, I took the opportunity to get my little Oppo.
Holy moly!!! What a difference. Short of Blu-Ray, that Oppo'll play anything and make it sound great. Never had a problem with any format.
Though, maybe the biggest DVD-A disappointment I've had is the church bells that open AC/DC's Hell's Bells. I was really looking for more impact... Still, the rest of the song rocks.
BTW, take some time with your owner's manuals and play with your menu settings. I play my SACDs using DSD. I think my DVD-As play PCM, but I'm not sure.
