4K player advice

Hi all,

Looking for suggestions on a good 4K blu ray player to pick up. No 4k tv as of now, but planning on grabbing an LG OLED soon. Is the Sony UBP-X700, Panasonic DP UB420K or Panasonic DP UB820K the better pick? I don't own any multi channel music discs, so no concerns there, but would be mostly concerned with HDR format availability where it seems like the more expensive Panasonic wins out.

UI is a bit clunky but not something I really fixate on as I seldom do anything in the menus.

Lack of HDR10+ support hasn't been an issue?

I have an Oppo UDP-203, but most of the time I have been using my Sony UBP-X800. I don't hesitate to recommend the Sony UBP-X800M2 player. Don't look for another more expensive brand product which won't perform any better.

The + variant is Samsung's "Beta-Max" play for HDR against Dolby Vision. I haven't seen a single item that makes me wish I had 10+ and a Samsung TV.

Get the latest C series LG when you can, unless you have deeper pockets and can play in the G... spot, er... I mean series.

Do any of the less expensive 4k / ultra hd blue ray players have analog outputs? It seems they've ditched them for hdmi except on higher priced units. I'm in a similar circumstance as @NINaudio in that I don't need all the newfangled features, just a player that plays the 4k ultraHD format discs and also has analog audio output.

The Sony ubp x700 could be paired with a cheap hdmi to analog converter, which seems the cheapest option, but open to other suggestions.
