Watched Thunderbolts last Friday night. It was actually pretty good. I would have to recommend it. I can say it IS NOT the best Marvel movie in the Marvel Universe. Haha, not by a long shot, but it definitely is one of the better ones. Though, it's not hard being the "better" one nowadays since most of Marvel movies being made today are absolute junk, compared to Phase 1 of Marvel. Since it tanked at the box office, they probably won't be making another one. Which is too bad. If they could make another one and keep the cost under $100m, I think this band of 2nd string "Avengers" could do quite well. I'm going to give Thunderbolts an 8/10. The comedy in the movie was good, chemistry between the actors got better as the movie went along. Though, overall action was pretty low, I enjoyed the back and forth between everyone when they were together. :)
My biggest pet peeve is plot holes/ facepalm moments.

Like when Dr. Strange froze time, he could have easily killed Thanos, but he didn’t. How Thanos is just so much more powerful than the Hulk. How nobody even asked Captain Marvel to help in the beginning when they knew Thanos was so powerful. Just way too many Facepalm moments in the Avengers movies for me.

But I didn’t really see any facepalm moments in Thunderbolts.

Did you see any plot holes/facepalm in Thunderbolts?

I love action like everyone else, but it can’t come with too many plot holes.

So when I say “Thunderbolt” is better, I mean better writing and a lot less plot holes.

Not talking about entertainment or enjoyment, which many people could enjoy Avengers more.

Thunderbolt was more about story and character development, a lot less action than any other Marvels movies. Physically fighting evil people is one thing. How do you fight an enemy that has no physical form - like Depression?

Jurassic World Rebirth 4K ATMOS Streaming.

PQ. Looks great. Dinosaurs look awesome. Unfortunately shot using analog 35 mm in this day and age. But fortunately transferred and mastered in 4K DIGITAL. At least PQ looks much better than his last movie - “The Creator”, which was shot using an inexcusable $4,000 CONSUMER digital 4K camera. What’s up with this guy? While everyone else is using 4-8K Digital cameras or at least 70mm cameras like Christopher Nolan, he uses either cheapa$$ $4,000 consumer cameras or analog 35 mm. Anyway, the PQ still looks great in master 4K digital. :D

SQ. ATMOS had some good OVERHEAD sound effects. I appreciate that. Definitely great bass with the dinosaur scenes. But it was streaming. I had to crank my volume from -30.0 to -23.0. But other than that, SQ was very good.

Writing. I like it a lot. Screenplay by David Koepp, whom I think is one of the better writers. I would definitely watch any movie he writes, even if the director uses stupid analog 35mm or stupid cheapa$$ $4,000 consumer cameras. As long as they have a good screenwriter, the movie can still be very entertaining. I didn’t really see any “facepalm” moments in the movie. The movie was more about the story, the character development, not about all brainless actions.

So I will definitely watch Jurassic World Rebirth when it comes out on 4K UHF disc. And rewatch in the future.
I watched it too lol. The story was sort of the same old, same old for this series I felt. Bad corporation wants something from dinosaurs and only care about their goal, so somebody has to run around with those dinosaurs. As a piece of entertainment though, it worked. It was still tense and fun, dinos were fun, and the action was good for the series.

Dr. Strange could not have destroyed Thanos. Thanos is a god or at least part god. Plus, when he's wearing the glove with stones, he becomes even more powerful. So, all of that makes sense. He's a warrior and more battle tested then all the Avengers. If Thanos didn't have the glove, I think the battles between him and Hulk would've been better. The Russo's wrecked Hulk in the final two installments. In my opinion. Same could be said about Thor vs Thanos in an even fight. Thor got his arse whooped a lot, even though he's a god and could've handled Thano's. But he was fat Thor and very rusty.

As far as plot holes are concerned, it doesn't bother me one bit if there are few. You have to realize the Russo bro's had to take all the information from how many different Marvel franchises, that were all written and directed by others, and pile that into 2 mega movies to wrap everything up. That's an extremely hard task. I think they did an excellent job wrapping it up. And the Total tickets sales of those movies prove that. Since both made over $1 billion at the box office.

Both Infinity Wars and Endgame are awesome to watch. The only REAL tragedy was Disney completely messing up on the sound and 4k releases. No 100gig discs and horrible ATMOUSE mix. I wish they would go back and redo the sound mixes for those movies and then re-released them on 100gig discs so they're not as compressed. They would sell out in minutes if they did that. :)

I think Thunderboltz was a good movie. Good starting place. I do hope they a sequel to this. But we all know they'll all appear in the next BIG Marvel movie. Guess we'll what the Russo's have in store. :D

Yes: BOB. One of the most powerful beings out there, but he has "issues", and that is kind of the key to the story. With his power, nobody can stand against him, so anyone they throw at him is irrelevant, like Dr. Manhattan. That's a facepalm. I agree, showing their flaws shows that they are people, not just "heroes". That made the story have some weight, but not enough that I felt connected to any of them. They just killed off Taskmaster like nothing too, wth? Not even a word about it after that.

Nothing new about the story. But I think the screenplay is pretty good - at least not as annoying as some of the Jurassic movies.

The one before, Jurassic World Dominion was absolutely horrible. I forced myself to watch it and stick with it all the way through. International markets just eat up Jurassic park movies. I can't believe it made $1b for how bad it was.

The last TWO were pretty bad. This one at least went more back to a straightforward "go to the island, see dinosaurs, you are food, run" formula.

The one issue I had with this one was the sailing family. They can handle themselves on a sailboat at sea, but are complete idiots on land?

Meh... This one goes straight kaiju.

These have always been borderline monster/creature features but previously they stayed mostly within a reasonable realm of paleontology backing. The genetic hybrids were still basically dinosaurs. This new one? It feels like you're watching some sort of new Alien flick at the end.

I'm not saying it wasn't enjoyable enough for what it was, but it also felt like a bit of a departure from the original recipe.

Yes, the 6 legged Rankor was a bit much. If they just made a Rankor instead, it might have been fun. And the swimming and flying dinos wouldn't just stick around the islands.
