I don't wanted to buy Plasma, coz I heard that they don't last long.
Very poor information. All new plasmas are rated for about 20 years of use. If that isn't long enough for you, then I'm not sure what to say. The LCDs really aren't rated to last any longer than the plasmas of today. Perhaps a few years, but in 20 years I imagine my plasma will be gone and I will have something different.

Not that there is anything wrong with LCD, but you should not discount plasma because of inaccurate information. I personally have never seen an LCD that has matched up to the pop that a plasma delivers. Especially with off axis viewing where image quality matters. No rear projection and no LCDs for me. I will stick with plasma and front projection for a while yet.

OLED anyone?

How do I separate the new Plasma and old Plasma? How do you guys think about the new Sony Bravia? Any recommendations, my budget is $2000 - $3000? Thanks!

You just ask - Most manufacturers include specifications on their display either in the users manual or on a website. So, as long as it isn't a rush decision someone should be able to help you get some solid information.

Instead of hijacking this post to find out about plasmas and lcds, please go ahead and start a new thread on the issue. It's a good one and worth it's own thread. No more on your plasma/lcd purchase here. :)

My room is about the same size as yours and went with the 50". I also bought a Sony. If you get the 50", you will be happy you did. I am. My brother in law got the 42" with about the same size room. His TV looks great too but the 50" really helps to immerse you into whatever your watching.
