The Onkyo TX-SR805 should be able to handle 4 ohm speakers and I believe it does has HDMI video upconversion.

The Onkyo TX-SR805 does all these things.

Note, that while it upconverts it does not have a scaler. It can deinterlace to 480p using Faroudja's Edge deinterlacer. If you have an HD DVD or Blu-ray player it will scale for you, or the TV will.
