Can someone recommend a set of 4 mini speakers, more or less, that are under 200 total that will do a decent job of mostly radio music ,home use. Polks?? other???? not junk..
I also need some kind of buss bar that can take 4 speaker wires and funnel them into 2 that fit the back of the radio that only has clamps for 2 wires.. thanks

For the speakers, search Amazon for NXG Pro 4.1. As for wiring up four speakers to two outputs, you really ought to have a four channel amp or multichannel receiver.

Strictly speaking, what you want might be possible by wiring both lefts in series, and likewise with both rights. That's as much as I'll say on the matter, though, as you really ought to put some effort into searching, reading, researching, and learning. I say that not to belittle, but to ensure that you understand fully what you're asking, how different wiring methods affect the load on your stereo receiver, and so you'll understand the risks and be careful not to make a mistake.

But research or not, I still recommend getting a receiver capable of driving four speakers natively without wiring hackery. This Denon receiver would work just fine, plus offer expandability if you'd like to add a subwoofer and center channel later.

That's why they're cheap.

how about another suggestion
Sorry. In your price range it's either the nxg, a lucky find on eBay or craigslist, or misery and despair. If the nxg isn't what you want, I suggest hitting some garage sales.

and a different receiver option also...thanks
What would you like to be different?

If you do not want to go with what rojo suggested - and you are still talking about radio and
$200 - then I would look at this complete system - Radio tuner and more with speakers.

Better than cheap cube speakers that have no bass.

Yamaha - with tuner, CD, and iPod
YAMAHA MCR-232 Micro Component System w/iPod Dock | Accessories4less

Brand new for $299 at Amazon

However, if that is a no go - then here is a stereo receiver, that will let
you play 2 sets of speakers at the same time > Denon

And the Onkyo
