Lately, every time I have put in a game to play, a white errors screen comes up saying to put the disc into an xbox 360 console. Even games straight out of the box have done this (last two games I bought, gh2 and dirt did it the first time I put them in). Sometimes it wont even recognize that there is a disc in there and just goes to the dashboard. Anybody got any tips? I know Im not the only one, cause a few of my friends have the same problem, just not as bad.

Also, I would just send it back to microsoft, but the warrenty just ended last month.

Also, just popped in Halo 2, worked first time.

And i just realized that my 360 is under warrenty since they extended it to 3 years (correct?). How long is the turn around on that?

The 3 year warranty is specifically for the RRoD. The standard warranty applies to all other problems.
