Well seeing as I already ordered, I guess I won't be getting studio 40's..

But just looking around I found these cool Stands... Piano Black..

Did you finally zero in on any 36" stand for studio 20 v3s? . I am in the same situation as you did. I have a big sofa and do need 36" stands that are stable enough for studio 20 v3.
