Thanks Dave.

This took me a little longer than the other projects I have done around my HT. The first wall that I dropped all the wire down ended up not working out and somehow I lost 30ft of wire in that wall. I also ended up with a couple of holes in the sheetrock that I didn't need. My time in the attic was about 3 hours and I kept running into issues up there. The second drop ended up pretty good and I got everything to drop on the second try. Since I was up there, I pulled 300ft of speaker wire and 75ft of comp cable, from my very first install up there when I had the plasma above the fireplace and my center channel in the FP:eek:

By the time I was done with all this I think I was tired and got sloppy on the final connections. That is why I had issues with the amp and trouble programming everything. After stepping away for a day, it all made sense and I was able to figure out everything that was wrong.

I am very pleased with the final results and I love the control I have over the 3 zones. I would consider this $160 upgrade, one of the best I have made to date.

I still need to do some final programming but my main goal was for Carolyn to be able to turn on the AVR and select her source easily from the bedroom and she can do that now.
I would have been shocked if the thread actually stayed on topic for the whole first page.;)

I'm impressed with the results. It just seems like such a challenging project to undertake in the first place that I'm unlikely to even try to do it myself. Good job.
