I have decided to upgrade my HT audio in its entirety. My old speakers and receiver will go into the basement to be hooked up to the big screen down there (my parents) and they are going to help me out with building a new system. I decided to go with the Yamaha HTR-5860 for the receiver, I built a new sonosub (12" Assasin tuned to 20hz) but i am stuck on the speaker end of the deal. The listening room is 17'x11'x8' there will be a 90" screen with an image projected by my sp4805. My choices are as follows.

PSB Image T55 or T45 towers, C60 Center and B25 or B15 bookshelves(going to run me a little over a grand from my dealer)

Infinity Beta c360 center, beta 50 towers and beta 20 bookshelves(going to run me a little under a grand)

Or, if the performance gain isnt worth the money a SVS SBS-01 5 speaker system to go along with my subwoofer (699 from the canadian svs distributor). I have heard very good things about this setup but I am not quite sold on the whole bookshelf setup

Please give me your opinions on which may be the best bang for your buck. Keep in mind all of these are within my price range but I would rather spend less on speakers and upgrade some of the other aspects of the theater as well.

I would go with the PSB or SVS system.

Update your sig while you're at it.

The least favorite of those options would have to be the Betas, the SVS should be very good for HT but I like PSB for music and HT.:D

cant speak for PSB

but I believe that BETA 20's fronts and rears; the C360 center will be better than the SVS set.

the above is my recommendation for purely HT use. if with music use, you can go for the BETA 50 fronts.

to Infinity and beyond!
:)
but if I could do it all over again, I would buy B&W 6 series.

My vote is for the PSB's. I heard the Image T65's and they sounded beautiful.
