2011 $2000 A/V Receiver Comparison Guide

Audio comparisons leave a lot to be desired when you leave out the other products by other manufactures in that price range even if these other AVRs don't have the same "feature sets", I feel the comparison of all is warranted if direction is intended to be given to your readers.
A few, NAD 757, Anthem MRX 700, Cambridge Azur 650 which now is being shipped with HDMI 1.4a and even the Rotel RSX-1065 might be of interest to a reader.

Denon for Me

I have the 4311, and 3311 Denon's of which you can pick up the 4311 right around $1500 delivered to your front door.

Love my 4311, and it's "Pure Audio Construction" to me could be heard vs. the 3311 right out of the box.

All Klipsch speakers set to Small, with LFE Only at 120Hz., and all Xovers at 80 Hz. is the way I am set up.

The Audyssey MultEQ XT32, really made a big improvement with the Dual Subs, and room EQ -- improved SQ over the 3311's XT.

Take a hard look at the Denon AVR-4311CI. It is one nice unit, and built in Japan.

about the only thing left in the Denon line that is not made in China is the 4300 and up line. But a lot of the internal components are made in other places shipped to Japan for assembly and what isn't these days.
