I say a new avatar is in line with the 2,000. Maybe a flashing 2,000 for your next 10 posts...

Don't you have a wife and kids? Or should I say did? ;) I wonder who has the most posts since this site started seven years ago. I think you need to turn your construction business into a custom AV sales installation business. Congratulations. :)

Hey, I thought that Samurai's are supposed to be disciplined & dedicated....now asking about recognition doesn't sound very Samurai like to me... ;)

Anyway, congratulations on reaching the 2000 milestone. I should be so lucky ( maybe by the time I retire... )

Your prestige has been added to... :D

Yo...spiffyfast

Just realized what your post was talking about...holy poop!! :)

I hadn't noticed your join date was June '05, I just assumed that with 951 posts it was like last year or earlier...

How many keyboards have you worn out so far ;)

Even the "mulester7" must be agog!

Keep it up and hopefully Clint & Co. can come up with a special moniker for someone who reaches 1000 posts in what, I assume, would be Audioholics record time. :D

Hai!

Buck is my enemy, but only on a college football level. He still has a standing invitation to come up and enjoy Ann Arbor during the UMvOSU game this year. I know the restaurants around here pretty well...

2000 posts.... And I'm still "gaining some recognition."
Repeat after me: "It's not based on posts."

If some 9 year old kid comes in here and posts 3000 times in the first 3 months, do you want people to take his advice as golden? I hope not. That is why the reputation has to be given, not based on post count.

But you already know this. :)

Now that you're a samurai, I think you and Jaxvon should get a couple swords and meet in a dark alley somewhere and fight to the death.

It's only fitting considering your current university loyalties :D .

How do you cheer for a team named after a nut???!!!!

I think he was going for the I have 2000 posts my level should be bumped up a little bit so I dont looke like that 9 yr old with 3000 posts in 3 months. Like what was originally done for some of us when the rating system was first introduced. There weren't many of us that were "upped" but it was nice to see that our contributions hadn't gone unnoticed.

I do wonder how much recognition someone needs to jump from one chicklet to two. Not sure how the chicklet rating system gives props to the more helpful if they require 30 or more just to jump from one to two.

If it linear, than that makes sense I guess, but I would think that one or two would be a quick sign of some good feedback and only beyond that would things start getting tough - then really tough - to achieve.

I also can't seem to give negative feedback. ;) Some people just seem to sprout poor information and post is as 'FAQ'.... Like a Bose marketing invasion.

what are you talking about, my bose super cube can go down to like 12 Hz and its the size of a shoe box and I can hide it, the quad 3.5" subwoofers will dominate any single 10" or 12" subwoofer, see 3.5" times 4 is equal to 14 so that means its way better :)

Congrats, Buck. 2000 posts...

Anyone know how many points you need for each chicklet level?

I've noticed that just the first chicklet seems to have two levels -

"xxxx is a forum member in good standing" and

"xxxx is gaining some recognition" or something to that effect
