I always use the Scale, and then the Thanks button. And I always sign my name. Check your UserCP, I just might have left you positive feedback.

I must have made someone angry because I don't see anymore thanks boxes at all when I post. Any idea why?

This is me telling you it's not. I haven't had 3, let alone 2 chicklets for that long. I have however had plenty of posts.

SheepStar
if it's about posts ... you should have twice as much "rep" giving powers as mazer ... hit me with one ... mazer's is around 10 points IIRC.

Okay, I get it. I needed to be pointed to the User CP. It enables you to see the last 5 reputation points/thanked posts. So mine for example says that I have 55 points which is a total of I think 18 thanked posts and 2 positive reputation thingies given by Mike and Mazer. Still, it's just 1 lonely chicklet.:) Humble beginings....

Nothing near the quote button? If so, I wouldn't worry about it, Chicklets give more rep anyway.

EDIT: You can't thank yourself. The thanks boxes are on others posts, and they can see yours.

It will increase to 2 when you hit 100 points. 3 at 200.

Okay, the last ? is how the points are tallied up. I assume a thanks is 1 point. How would the points be broken up with the scales based on posts of the scale clicker?

0-100 points is one chicklet
100-200 is two chicklets
200-300 is three chicklets (according to sheep, I haven't exceeded 3 chicks yet)

like I said, sheep's is 13 points. the one you gave me is 2 points. and you are correct, a thanks is 1 point.

I sometimes go through peoples' thanked posts to find useful info. So a frivolous thanks doesn't really help. But still I like seeing my number go up. It keeps me mindful of actually being a help.

There has to be a breakdown of if a guy has 1000 posts and gives you a scale and another guy has 2000 posts and gives you a scale etc.

Who cares about the "Thank Yous" and the "Scale"? As long as you contribute positively to the forum your heart should be rewarded with the joy of knowing you helped someone. :D

Who am I fooling? I was Scales. LOL

The audio spectrum is a mix of frequencies. All other things being equal, a speaker design with two woofers will have more volume at the lower frequencies than the same speaker design with a single woofer of the same size. All other things aren't equal when you compare one design to another, however.
What if it had 4 woofers, instead of 1?

Would all the woofers' sound waves cancel each other out somewhat?

Theoretically, if we were to Vertically place two center speakers (2 midrange/woofers each) 1 or 2 inches apart next of each other, would the frequencies add or subtract?

done :) :)

how many points was it?
12.

212 points - 224. Now that I think about it, the rep system varies on both points, plus posts. If I give a noob a chicklet they get many points, but if I give a regular with lots of posts and a couple chicklets, it is less.

Interesting. Will I use this power for good, or evil?

it's also possible a noob has 0-5 points at the start ... then you give him a 12 point red chicklet ... that instantly puts him in the red.
